What we do

The Flying Filly is a place where we develop and nurture relationships:

· Relationships with horses

· Relationships with each other

· Relationships with ourselves

Humans, like horses, are social creatures. We long to be in relationships with other humans, but sometimes we find it difficult to relate to others or to express ourselves in groups.
We are a small horse facility that provides horses and a safe, private setting for Equine Facilitated Learning (EFL) and Psychotherapy (EFP) as well as Therapeutic riding for kids on the autism spectrum (Asperger's, etc.) or those with behavioral challenges where increased communication and development of social skills is the main goal.
We use Natural Horsemanship and other methods to communicate with the horses. The horses have a say in what goes on in each session and the way we deal with that expression says more about us than about the horse.
We are committed to living in the moment as horses do.
